a location to inspire

An area with a rich and varied history, Fulham is one of London's most intriguing, desirable locations. It's not hard to see the appeal.

Just moments away, you can stroll along the bank of the river Thames. There's no shortage of green open spaces to discover either: the historic Hurlingham Park, South Park and Bishop's Parks are all just a short walk away and there's the lovely brand new riverside park on your doorstep.

If you are interested in shopping, there are the retail paradises of Chelsea's King's Road and Sloane Square just minutes away, while Knightsbridge, home to Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Peter Jones is not much further. The new shopping centre at Westfield London with over 256 shops and nearly 50 places to eat is just a short train ride away. Closer to home, Fulham boasts an eclectic and engaging range of places to shop, socialise, wine and dine.

the art of travel

Travelling to work and getting out and about are all made simple. From the new Imperial Wharf Overland station, it's just one stop to Clapham Junction and three stops to Victoria and Waterloo, while Parsons Green or Fulham Broadway tube stations on the District line are your links to the Underground network.

Naturally, Fulham is served by numerous buses including several night bus links, so getting to central London, the City and the West End is simple. Or for a distinctly different way of getting to work, Thames River Taxis run from Chelsea Harbour Pier into Central London.

To complete a myriad of travel options, residents can take advantage of the gallery's Car Club. At the gallery|sw6, travel becomes an art form.
